EDUCATION BENEFITS
Veterans Education Benefits
GI Bill benefits include more than just tuition.  In addition to tuition support, veterans may also be eligible for benefits involving housing and books, qualify for grants and scholarships, and be eligible for supplemental programs like the Yellow Ribbon Program.  http://www.benefits.va.gov/gibill/

Federal Education Benefits
Federal veterans education benefits have attracted millions to military service.  The newest benefit – the Post-9/11 GI Bill – is particularly enticing, as it offers the most generous financial aid ever available to service members.  But it’s not perfect for every veteran.  Military personnel should carefully study all seven education benefits before selecting one.  The new GI Bill is not a one-size-fits-all piece of legislation.  https://www.legion.org/education/federalbenefits

Minnesota State Education Benefits
The Minnesota G.I. Bill program was established in 2007 to provide postsecondary educational assistance to eligible Minnesota veterans who served on or after September 11, 2001.  For details, eligibility, and additional Minnesota residents benefits.  https://www.legion.org/education/statebenefits/minnesota

Trade School Might be a Better Choice Than College
This article discusses seriously considering trade school, particularly if not at the top of the class.  Trade school offers a pretty compelling career path.  Some people simply aren’t prepared for the rigors of a four year college.  The Institute of Education Statisitics estimates that 40% of attendees at a four year college drop out before completing their degree, thus not only have they incurred some of the expense of college, they left without receiving a degree.  https://lifehacker.com/trade-school-might-be-a-better-choice-than-college-her-1484086007
